Our breath is a powerful access point to the body. Because breath is driven by our autonomic nervous system, it reflects our state – mentally, emotionally, and physically. And because we have some conscious control of our breath, we can influence our state through our breath. Breath is both a mirror and a tool, a bridge for dialogue with the nervous system.
In this workshop we’ll explore how we tend to hold our bodies and how our breath moves as a result. Through various practices we will explore how we can open our breath to support our bodies and nervous systems.
